Director of Sports Performance & Head Speed Coach at Lonestar ATH, a premier athletic development facility dedicated to building elite athletes through discipline, intensity, and a “dogs only” mentality.

A former Texas A&M track and field athlete and member of the 2011 National Championship team, Rick learned firsthand what it takes to compete and win at the highest level. That experience built the foundation for his coaching style—rooted in precision, accountability, and relentless effort.

Rick is a Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) and Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES), with a primary focus on speed development and change of direction (COD). His specialty lies in helping athletes move efficiently, explosively, and confidently—turning raw potential into game-changing performance.

At Lonestar ATH, Rick blends modern sports science with an old-school mentality to build complete athletes—strong in body, sharp in mind, and unshakable in spirit. His mission goes beyond speed and strength; it’s about developing leaders who carry discipline, confidence, and character beyond the field.

Coach Paul - Head Strength + Conditioning Coach

Paul Arredondo, BS, CSCS

Paul Arredondo is the founder and Head Strength Coach of Unbreakable Strength LLC, a high-performance training company dedicated to building elite athletes through discipline, precision, and purpose.

A 2x National Strongman Champion with over a decade of experience coaching athletes across the NFL, MLB, NBA, NCAA, WBO, WBC, and UFC, Paul brings a rare blend of professional experience and technical mastery to every session.

Holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science and a CSCS certification, Paul’s coaching philosophy revolves around three pillars:

Fundamentals, Injury Mitigation, and Sport Specificity.

He believes that true athletic development starts with mastering the basics, building durability through intelligent programming, and tailoring training to the unique demands of each sport and athlete.

At Lonestar Athletics, Paul creates an environment where accountability and effort drive results. His mission goes beyond strength—it’s about developing Unbreakable Athletes who move efficiently, compete relentlessly, and carry discipline into every aspect of life.

Coach Lana - Head Performance Coach

A Houston-area native, Lana has 12 years of experience as a strength and conditioning coach and sports performance coach. After a brief career in sports journalism, she obtained her Master's degree in Kinesiology from Texas A&M Corpus Christi. With an athletic background in tennis, basketball, and softball, Lana specializes in the development of speed and agility for athletes of all sports, and has worked with athletes at the youth, collegiate and professional levels.

Lana is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Certified Speed and Agility Coach (CSAC), and Tennis Performance Trainer (TPT).

Lana's commitment to developing athletes revolves around her belief in implementing age-appropriate training strategies that reduce the risk of injury while also optimizing strength, power and speed.
